If you care about the safety of your children or loved ones do not trust this mechanic. I brought my van in to be fixed because of a transmission fluid loss on Monday July 8th. I get a call on Thursday July 11th saying that the transmission cooler line popped off of the radiator and that they had fixed it. I was not quoted to repair this problem they said they had fixed it. If I was told that they didn't fix the problem and given a quote to fix this problem I would have worked with them. They did not put a .25 cent clip on the transmission line causing failure and further damage to my van while on a dangerous road. I was charged for a 21 point inspection, transmission fluid and shop supplies. They did not offer a price to fix the cooler line, again they said they had fixed it. Broken down on the side of the road again within a day or so of picking up my van with the exact same problem and further damage to my van. I was offered a price to fix the water pump about 500 dollars and a price to fix my transmission 5,000 dollars. Neither of these were what I came for. They ignored the initial problem, said they fixed it and sent me on my way to break down. I guess Bob is the guy to sue. This comment is a warning to everyone of extreme incompetence and also notice of my intent to sue for the maximum amount allowed in small claims court. Photo is of the exact problem they said they fixed, but they actually lied. This is my second documented attempt to settle outside court in a good faith effort.
I've reach out to you with no response Your vehicle was towed in due to transmission fluid leak, We inspected and found a transmission line disconnected, At that time per the tech had found 2 white retainer clips laying in the lower well, He reinserted the line with the retainer clips, He then ensured that the line was held in place and it was, also noted that the dipstick tube was leaking and is loose, he then filled the fluid up and test drove, he did noted on the invoice that the transmission during the test drive had very late shifts and hard Shifts as well, Eminent transmission failure as well as the water pump leaking, oil change light on. Its obvious that the vehicle is not well maintained and the fact is by driving it for how ever long while the tranny fluid was draining is most likely the reason the tranny is having issues !!! We sorry your vehicle has issues but we are certainly not the cause!
